are we fortunate?

for the past few years, both Channel U and Channel 8 has been coming with charity show. Firstly, the NKF show, followed by the President charity show. den the renci charity. people will be thinking, do we really need that lot of shows to get donations from the public? are singaporeans that rich??

by looking at those patients, one cant help but pity their plight. i'm sure the chubby little boy jeremy who has a certain illness which made him unable to move ard on his own. despite being ill, he can always remain so cheerful and bubbly. i really admire him for his courage to live.

what about us who so healthy free of sickness and yet who always keep complain that we have diffcult life? wad is really fair to us people? are we really fortunate? a sudden tsunami causes thousands n millions of live lost...people without a home in an instant, lost their family members as they saw them swept away before their own eyes.

why didnt it occur to Singapore? izzit becuz Raffles really choose a right spot to prevent disaster or he can predict the future that how many hundred of yrs later, south east asia will have a big calamities? NO! Raffles is only a governor, not one who can predict the future.

sometimes i do wonder, if this happen to us...2 things might happen. 1 is sg will vanish forever...not a single part of sg will be standing. 2nd is if sg doesnt vanish, the ppl will be more united to help each other to overcome the hardship. life in sg will turn to become like the sg when Raffles 1st step foot on to it...
