My Fair Maiden

I know of a fair maiden
Since 21 years ago
When we have laughter and fun
Between us are 15 months of time
For her to grow to learn
To teach me, this young girl.

21 years like a shoot star
She has become a beautiful lady,
Still very fair.
Words of wisdom, words of kindness
I learned all through her speech.
As elegant and wise
This young lady.

21 years of ups and downs,
We squabbled and we fought
To be what we are.
Hand in hand to school
Till we took a different path
Yet something always makes us
Come back together as one.

Fate has given us something
Not everyone has to enjoy.
Fate given us each other
For us to lean on
Hopefully we'll still lean on
When we grace old age together,
With our little brother.
