That sounds like a typical composition topic in primary school. But no, it's really MY FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL.
After stopping school for 2 years and now i'm back again seems very brain-wreaking. It was indeed brain-wreaking on the first day. If anyone were to ask me to describe it one word, it'll only be STRESSFULL!!!
Maybe after working for a period of time, where people take you as an adult, you suddenly have to change your mentality, because lecturers treat you like a kid.
Rule No. 1: Cannot be late, or else points from assignments will be taken. ( Is this threatening us?)
Rule No. 2: No talking while the lecturer is talking. ( I thought this will only happen in primary school? )
Rule No.3: No listening to music when you are doing your own assignment during lesson. ( DUH! Needless to say right? )
Rue. No.4: No background music, all phone turn to vibrating or silent mode. ( We get this even will watching movies )
Rule No.5: When talking in class, do not use other language apart from English. Anyone caught using other languages, sticky tapes will be pasted over your mouth till end of lesson. And photo will be taken and send to Student service office and will be posted up the noticeboard and school newsletter. ( Sounds very much like Secondary school leh )
Look! Kids or not kids??!! Is this a tertiary institution or is this a primary school where we still need people to educate us on basic courtesy?
Mi ( my Korean lecturer) kept emphasizing that drive her crazy by asking the same questions over and over again. I think Mi is driving us to the wall by imposing all the rules and regulations on us. As if she thinks that assignments are not enough to do the job.
She made us look like a bunch of demons, if not, devils. ( or they pretty much the same? )
